These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the balitokomodo.com website and travel booking services operated by Juara Holding Group (“Bali to Komodo,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
Bali to Komodo provides travel planning, booking coordination, and tour arrangement services for Komodo National Park and surrounding destinations in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Our services include coordinating liveaboard cruises, day trips, diving excursions, overland tours, flight bookings, accommodation arrangements, and park permits. We act as an intermediary between you and the service providers (boat operators, hotels, airlines, park authorities) who deliver the actual travel services.
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is confirmed only when we issue a written confirmation (via email or WhatsApp) and receive the required deposit payment. Deposit requirements are typically 30% of the total booking value, due at the time of confirmation. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the departure date. For bookings made within 14 days of departure, full payment is required at confirmation.
We accept payment via bank transfer (IDR or USD), PayPal, and major credit cards. All prices quoted are in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice prior to booking confirmation. Once a booking is confirmed and deposit paid, the quoted price is guaranteed.
Additional charges may apply for services not included in the original booking, changes requested after confirmation, additional park entry fees or permits, optional activities added during the trip, and currency exchange rate fluctuations for non-USD payments.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected] or via WhatsApp. The following refund schedule applies based on the notice period before the scheduled departure date:
30+ days before departure: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee.
15-29 days before departure: 50% refund of total booking value.
7-14 days before departure: 25% refund of total booking value.
Less than 7 days before departure: No refund.
Refunds are processed within 14 business days of the cancellation request. Refunds are issued via the original payment method. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage.
We reserve the right to cancel or modify bookings due to force majeure events, safety concerns, severe weather conditions, government regulations or restrictions, or insufficient minimum group sizes. In such cases, we will offer a full refund or rescheduling to alternative dates at no additional charge.
We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical expenses, medical evacuation, baggage loss, and adventure activity coverage. Medical facilities in Labuan Bajo and Komodo National Park are limited, and medical evacuation to Bali or Jakarta may be necessary for serious conditions. Travel insurance is your responsibility and not included in our service fees.
Travel to Komodo National Park involves inherent risks including but not limited to: encounters with wild Komodo dragons (venomous apex predators), marine activities in open water with currents, weather conditions including rough seas and tropical storms, remote locations with limited medical facilities, physical activities requiring reasonable fitness (hiking, swimming, boarding boats), and tropical health risks (sun exposure, dehydration, insect-borne diseases).
By booking our services, you acknowledge these risks and confirm that you are physically fit to participate in the activities included in your itinerary. You agree to follow all safety instructions from guides, rangers, boat crew, and park authorities. You agree to disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that may affect your ability to participate safely.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during activities. Certain activities (scuba diving, advanced trekking) may have minimum age requirements set by service providers.
All visitors to Komodo National Park must comply with regulations set by the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry and the Balai Taman Nasional Komodo (BTNK). Key regulations include: mandatory accompaniment by licensed ranger guides on Komodo and Rinca Islands, advance booking through the SiOra system (effective April 2026), daily visitor caps of 1,000 persons, prohibitions on feeding, touching, or approaching wildlife within designated distances, no littering or removal of natural materials, designated trail adherence, and compliance with marine protected area rules for diving and snorkeling.
Failure to comply with park regulations may result in fines, removal from the park, or legal action by Indonesian authorities. We are not responsible for consequences arising from your failure to follow park rules.
Bali to Komodo acts as an intermediary coordinator between you and independent third-party service providers. While we carefully select and vet our partner operators, we are not directly responsible for the acts, omissions, or negligence of third-party service providers including boat operators, airlines, hotels, park authorities, and guides employed by partner organizations.
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the specific booking in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including but not limited to lost enjoyment, lost profits, emotional distress, or costs arising from delays, cancellations, or changes beyond our reasonable control.
All content on balitokomodo.com — including text, images, logos, graphics, and design — is the property of Juara Holding Group and protected by Indonesian and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to arbitration in Denpasar, Bali, in accordance with the Indonesian Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution Act (Law No. 30 of 1999).
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of our website and services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
