SiOra (Sistem Informasi Online Reservasi Alam) is the Indonesian government’s digital platform for managing visitor access to Komodo National Park. Launched in April 2026, it replaces the previous on-site ticketing system with a fully online reservation process. The system enforces a 1,000-person daily visitor cap and requires advance planning, particularly during peak season (June-September) when daily visitor slots can fill up weeks ahead.
1. Create an account on the SiOra platform using your email address and passport information.
2. Select your preferred visit date from the available calendar — dates showing green have available slots, yellow indicates limited availability, and red means fully booked.
3. Choose your planned activities (trekking route, snorkeling, diving).
4. Review the fee summary and complete payment online via credit card or Indonesian bank transfer.
5. Receive your confirmed booking with a QR code via email.
The entire process takes approximately 15-20 minutes for first-time users and 5 minutes for returning visitors.

The SiOra booking bundles all park-related fees into a single payment: base entrance fee (350,000-500,000 IDR depending on weekday/weekend), conservation contribution (100,000-200,000 IDR), ranger guide allocation fee, and activity-specific permits (trekking, snorkeling, diving). The total per-person cost is approximately $30-50 depending on activities and visit day.
Book as early as possible during peak season — July and August dates can fill up 3-4 weeks ahead. Keep your confirmation QR code accessible on your phone and have a printed backup. SiOra allows date modifications up to 48 hours before your booked visit. Group bookings of 10+ people may have different availability.
